It's true, be volunteer MakeSense exceeded my expectations!
I remember in 2014 Silvana Pacheco invited me to be voluntary of MakeSense. I'm Julieta Hilasaca from Perú, love entrepreneurship topics so when I heard the word "entrepreneurs" in this moment said: "Ok I accept it", I don't know would come after... imagine help to someone to solve challenges nothing more... I thought "it was fun and started to get more involved.

I can say that it's not only solving challenges for social entrepreneurs, it is a lot MORE, with the group that was initially formed by Silvana, Helene, Liliana and David I learned many things like: use and organize methodologies like: Hold-Up, DiscoSopa, MKS Room, which I'v participated so far (there are many more!).
My experience as a volunteer has been and is formidable, I have been able to develop at all levels, to learn to speak in public, to know much deeper technology tools, to interview entrepreneurial people that moves them to help society and the environment... it's just great!
I felt very happy to interview Cinthia Rodriguez of the company Empanacombi, a person who knew how to use a "problem" to make it a social enterprise, Empanacombi provides employment for people with disabilities, Cinthia was one of the interviewees of the event called MKSRoom (Interviews of social entrepreneurs, and live music), which we organized with Silvana Pacheco, was an experience that I've NEVER forget.

I also had experiences organizing Hold-Up's (resolution of challenges for social entrepreneurs) with many people involved in helping through brainstorming and finally putting them into action in their endeavors, I would not want to leave aside any, but the one I liked the most Was for Gracilé Polé de Vacas Felices, for me the best of all Hold-Up's made, so far I have the taste of their delicious products on the palate uhmmm.

How to forget the first DiscoSopa (community festive meeting in which those fruits and vegetables that are to be discarded because they can not be marketed for aesthetic reasons (the 'ugly' ones) are recovered. These foods are taken to a public place and to the rhythm of Music the volunteers wash these products, cut them and prepare them in dishes to distribute them all immediately and free, to raise awareness of the NO waste of food) that I made with Helene and David, it was a CRAZY!!!, to collect from the centers of supplies all that was to our step and besides the good will of the people who wanted to give us their products that they no longer marketed.

Recently we participated as volunteers for the First National Meeting of Youth of the Partsnerschaft Youth, with people from all over Peru, it was an unforgettable experience ... and I am sure that I will continue to learn more and more and especially meet wonderful people .
Thank you so much MakeSense, I won't tire of doing it, in one of the events of SenseDrink I met my friend and current partner Liliana Alfaro, together have a venture called NowWhat and it comes MUCH more...
